Nodak Flickertails Camping with High Desert Rig Runners
Five Nodak Flickertails are camping as guests of the WIT High Desert Rig Runners at Joshua Tree, CA. Denis, Betty, Marjorie, Cathy & John are in Joshua Tree, a small town just north of the Joshua Tree National Park. We are camped in a unique camp ground that is only for clubs. They charge a fixed fee per night and the club decides how to split the bill. We went to the Rode House Cafe in Yucca Valley for dinner Thursday night. The Rode House Cafe is only open from 5:00 - 8:00 PM for dinner. Breakfast Friday morning was pot luck and the main topic of discussion was how everyone met their spouses and got married. Several campers went to Joshua National Park including John and Cathy. Friday dinner is to be a turkey dinner provided by the hosts. The weather is beautiful in the 70's clear sky and some wind, which just went down to a breeze at about 5:00 PM. Denis put his screen door opener and awning locks on a couple of rigs. Denis and John installed a screen door shade on John and Cath's rig. Several spent the afternoon playing games.
Cathy and John,
Both Al and I certainly enjoyed getting to know you during our campout. Have a great rest of your trip and stay in touch. Your blog is interesting
