Chris & Joyce left Las Vegas at 8:00 AM and met Jerry & Betty who left Casa Grande at 6:00 AM at their hotel in Blythe.  Then they went to the RV show in Quartzsite that closed early because of high wind.  Denis, Betty, Marjorie, Cathy and I left Las Vegas at 11:30 AM and drove down US95 to Blythe.  We had a strong wind mostly behind us and got to Blythe at about 5:00 PM.  We parked in the K-Mart parking lot and Jerry, Betty, Chris and Joyce joined us at about 6:00 PM.  We were having a beer and getting caught up in Denis & Betty's motorhome when  Joyce said she had a game she wanted to play.  We then heard the doorbell and were surprised by Adam & Judy from Bismarck who had flown into Phoenix on Saturday and had kept it secret from everyone except Joyce.  We all went to the Sizzler for dinner.  They had a line extending into the parking lot.  There was a Bluegrass festival and all the people from Quartzsite.  Joyce called John & Helen in South Carolina, where it was 65 degrees, to tell them what they were missing.  We are all going to meet in Quartzsite at the RV show on Monday.  I haven't heard the official temperature here, but you have to wear a jacket.
